West Pegasus departs Curacao
Prior to heading to the Gulf of Mexico, she stayed off port for a couple of days to conduct tests, perform crew changes and loading of cargo. Herewith quoting an article in Piet Sinke's Newsclippings, 03 August 2011, edition:
Above seen the mooring the m/v "HANS BOYE" loaded with containers and risers from Houston/Texas, alongside the new rig "WEST PEGASUS" from Seadrill Inc. offshore Curacao, after loading the materials the rig will sail to the Gulf of Mexico ans will start drilling 220 miles south of Galveston/Texas in Mexican waters for PEMEX, water depth 3050 meters !
